Having qualified in the UK Robert's interest in joint treatments has been a lifelong since his Registrar attachment at the Rheumatology Unit , The London Hospital, Whitechapel.
Working alongside Professor Currie, Dr Colin Barnes and Dr David Perry, Robert developed an in-depth knowledge of joint anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Robert has owned and worked in various practices since his arrival in New Zealand. In 2010 Stem-cell was founded and many thousands of patients have been successfully treated through the clinic.

Rhona DeBoyer has a background in commerce, advertising and management.
Rhona is generally the point of first contact in the clinic.
Patients will find her informed and empathic manner both reassuring and helpful.
She works alongside Robert in the surgery and patients find her knowledge and experience invaluable.
